What is it about?


The video explains how to link bank accounts, credit cards, and PayPal accounts in Frienton. It shows how transactions are processed and how the cash flow statement is created based on this data.



Key contents


1️⃣ Connect accounts

  • In the Multibanking tab bank accounts, credit cards, savings accounts, PayPal accounts, etc. can be linked
  • Connection via FinAPI (PSD2-certified by BaFin)
  • Enter login data, optionally save PIN for automatic updates (recommended)
  • Two-factor authentication (e.g. TAN) required


2️⃣ Special cases with certain banks

  • Additional approvals necessary (e.g. Deutsche Bank: release account for external accounting software)
  • Some banks require a separate sub-ID or registration (e.g. Fyrst, Solarisbank)
  • If your account was not recognized directly, please click on “Fetch more accounts”


3️⃣ Manage transactions

  • Overview of all linked accounts and transactions
  • Automatic categorization by AI (can be changed manually)
  • Markers, comments, and documents can be assigned to transactions


4️⃣ Payment functions

  • Create new payments (including bulk payments)
  • View past payments
  • Manage standing orders


5️⃣ Cash flow statement

  • Overview of income and expenses down to subcategory level
  • Based on linked accounts and retrieved transactions



Summary


Frienton enables the central management of all business accounts and payment providers. You will then find the overview in the dashboard and the detailed view in the cash flow statement – a transparent financial overview.
